Sestri Levante Municipality (Italy) is looking for a qualified candidate to cover the position of Financial Manager for the project CLIMA - Cleaning Innovative Mediterranean Action.

Main functions

• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to the project staff while recommending further courses of action
• Maintain the financial health of the project
• Provide monthly cash reports
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions and co-financing for these to meet ENI CBC med guidelines
• Oversee operations of the finance management, set goals and objectives, and design a common framework for all of the project partners
• Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of project finances
• Correspond with various other departments to discuss project plans and plan common actions to be taken

Requirements 

• Bac/Degree in Finance - Accounting - Economics
• Proven professional experience as Financial Manager for international programmes or projects
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Fluent in French, English and Italian
• To be able to work in Tunisia and to move to Italy if needed
• Proficient user of finance software
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations as for European or Italian MSF

Duration: 18 months

Duty Station: Tunisia
