IPMED In Italy shares its activities about intellectual property at SME4SMARTCITIES final conference

SME4SMARTCITIES and IPMED have met during a public event, sharing their methodologies and good practices on how to engage SMEs with Mediterranean innovation ecosystem through an online event entitled ” Innovative SMEs, EU projects and synergies in the Mediterranean area” held by the Italian project partner, FILSE, on July 20th 2021 which organization intended to enhance the results and to start a fruitful cooperation between all involved stakeholders.

Having this in mind, FILSE put forward the participation of IPMED project at the SME4SMARTCITIES final event. Organized in Malaga, Spain by BIC Euronova, the event took place on June 21st 2023 at the Observatorio de Medio Ambiente Urbano (OMAU) with the participation of the whole partnership, the stakeholders and SMEs engaged during the project implementation. A capitalization panel was organized for the occasion, taking the chance to bring together three projects managed by SME4SMARTCITIES partners:

Pietro De Martino, FILSE’s EU Project coordinator, took the chance to give an overview of the logic behind IPMED project, presenting objectives, beneficiaries and actions. FILSE presentation focused then on the achieved results in terms of participants to awareness events and workshops organized by the Italian partner, as well as the number of stakeholders engaged in working group meetings and via surveys. The short speech was concluded with an invitation to all Italian SMEs to join the upcoming opportunities about Intellectual Property knowledge development: the free IP consultation desk and the 12-hour training program which is dedicated to Startups, women and young entrepreneurs and SMEs during mid of July.
