GREENLAND project cooperates with Jordan Enterprise Development corporation

On 17th August 2021 GREENLAND project coordinator in Jordan signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with theJordan Enterprise Development corporation, with the aim of creating coherence and networking between projects of the European Union-funded ENI CBC MED Program  and unifying and joining efforts to provide grants and job opportunities for youth and women. The agreement was signed by Eng. Alaa Wahbeh, Greenland project coordinator in Jordan.

 

GREENLAND presented its objective which aims to empower NEETs and women by providing them with marketable skills and qualifications to prepare them for skill-based occupations within the Green and Circular Economy sectors and reduce skill mismatches in rural areas particularly affected by the climate change.

 

The participants in the ceremony, which was sponsored by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Eng. Maha Ali, and in the presence of the Ambassador of the European Union to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Maria Hadjitheodosiou, reviewed the goals and vision of the projects and their role in creating job opportunities for young people in the Mediterranean basin, supporting entrepreneurship and creativity projects and marketing their ideas.
