After a process of training and consulting that lasted almost a year, also the Chamber of Achaia - Greek partner of MEDSt@rts - has completed the selection of the 15 aspiring entrepreneurs who will receive a sub-grant of € 10,000 each.

A total of 26 business ideas were submitted during the first phase of the project; 23 of them attended and participated in the entire personal and consulting process, receiving guidance and improving their personal skills deemed necessary for implementation. The sectors on which the ideas were developed include tourism, culture (and creative industry), nutrition-agri-food, marketing, new technology platforms and ideas to support local entrepreneurship. 

In the next phase the selected beneficiaries will obtain a legal recommendation - including the establishment of their  business in the Prefecture of Achaia for those who do not already exist - and will use the sub-grant to start their activity, while participating in seminars and actions to strengthen their business model in collaboration with the Chamber of Achaia.

The ranking list of the 15 beneficiaries will soon be published on the website of the Chamber of Achaia and announced to the local press.
