About Wave Bike

Dense cities such as Beirut are in desperate need of smart commuting solutions. Especially with the lack of efficient public transport. 47% of pollution is caused by traffic, citizens waste 50% more time in traffic, and more than 80% of citizens are not sufficiently active. Wave was born to help tackle these issues. Inspired by Dutch cycling culture, the start-up offers a tailor-made e-bicycle subscription and thus promotes a shift towards a healthier and more respectful transportation system in Beirut.

GIMED support

Wave Bikes wanted to grow its network, joining GIMED trainig and coaching program at Berytech allowed them to access new networks and customers. Through GIMED, Berytech also supported the start-up in the installation of a solar power generator for the e-bikes.
