The second CROSSDEV Inter-Partners Management Committee (IPMC) meeting was held last week, gathering all partners around a virtual table to discuss the start of the project and the near future.

The main focus was the discussion around the Local Action Plan Guidelines, an important document edited by MiBACT (the Italian Ministry for cultural heritage, cultural activities and tourism) to guide other partners in the creation of the plans for the promotion of the less known tourist destinations.

Sustainability, ecology, responsibility: thanks to the commitment of the UN with the Agenda 2030 and with climate change being eventually recognised and tackled by most of the world’s governments, these words have lately become more and more popular. Nonetheless, when associated with the word “tourism”, they are often misinterpreted or misused. There seems to be a certain confusion and difficulty in understanding the meaning of such words and in making proper use of the correct terminology.

CROSSDEV: 15 accords signés pour dynamiser le tourisme communautaire en Palestine

As part of the activities of the CROSSDEV project, the Palestinian partner Masar Ibrahim al Khalil (MIAK) organized three meetings on December 3rd, 5th and 10th. 

Held at the local authorities’ buildings, the meetings focused on two main objectives: introducing communities’ actors and stakeholders to the notion of community-based tourism and presenting CROSSDEV’s objectives and planned activities.

SME4SMARTCITIES au SMAU GENOVA 2019

On 26 November 2019, the SMAU Roadshow, the circuit of the national and international innovation ecosystems, made a stop in Liguria for the third edition of SMAU Genova. Realized in collaboration with the Liguria Region, FILSE and Liguria International, the event was an opportunity to connect businesses, startups, digital players, intermediate subjects and public administration actors in a new way, to share experiences of innovation and encourage the creation of new partnerships.

Les PME de Malaga impliquées dans le projet SME4SMARTCITIES

On the 12th of November in Málaga (Spain) the SME4SMARTCITIES project was presented during the second meeting for collaboration in International Projects organized together by the Smart City Cluster, an alliance of more than 120 Spanish companies and institutions dedicated to improve the life quality in cities applying the latest technologies. SMEs from the Cluster and the Andalusian Technological Park attended the event to discover different European projects such as Mellissa, Smart Green Cube and SME4SMARTCITIES.
