My name is AQUACYCLE and I am looking forward to write-up my autobiography on this online platform over the next 3 years.
My name might be mistakenly interpreted as a means to cycle across water, and I will indeed be criss-crossing the Mediterranean Region, as my creators are from Greece, Lebanon, Malta, Spain and Tunisia.

The Lebanese University, Faculty of Public Health, located in Tripoli (Lebanon), is seeking to hire four Senior Researchers (SRs), one to lead and coordinate the team of the Lebanese University, a Communication Expert, and two SRs to implement successfully project activities and achieve the project’s targets.

The target countries of the NAWAMED project, which aims at changing urban water management and fostering the use of Non-Conventional Water (NCW) resources thanks to innovative, sustainable, and low-cost nature-based solutions (NBS) are Italy, Tunisia, Jordan and Lebanon. Why?
Jordan is among the poorest countries in the world on the basis of freshwater availability. Jordan’s water strategy for 2016-2025 considers the reuse of treated wastewater as an important resource to help to bridge the widening gap between diminishing supplies and increasing demands.

Première rencontre de presse du projet MENAWARA en Italie
Nov. 18, 2019 - This morning a press meeting was held in the historical building of the University of Sassari to meet the local and national press and announce the official launch of the project. Project manager prof. Pier Paolo Roggero informed the Press about the objectives of the project and the partners involved in MENAWARA, while Communication Manager dr. Tonito Solinas described the innovative story telling-based approach that will be developed by the project and, in general, by the ENI CBC MED programme.

In the framework of ENI CBC Med Program, funded by the European Union, on November 28-29th 2019, at ICU office, viale G. Rossini 26, Rome, Italy, will be held the kick-off meeting of PROSIM Project. The meeting, dedicated to project partners, will be preceded by a press conference, opened to interested journalists, scheduled from 11.00 am to 11.30 am at ICU office, during the first day of the meeting.

The project’s kick off meeting was successfully held on the 24th of October 2019 in Limassol, Cyprus. A press conference followed on the 25th of October at the University of Cyprus in Nicosia, Cyprus. The aim of the press conference was to announce the project’s kick-off and to communicate its objectives, expected achievements, and opportunities.
