Tout le monde a entendu parler de l'effondrement du Rana Plaza au Bangladesh le 24 avril 2013, au cours duquel plus de 1 000 personnes sont mortes et plus de 2 500 ont été blessées. Cette tragédie a secoué le monde, et ce fut probablement un tournant vers une plus grande prise de conscience du revers de l'industrie de la mode. Lorsque nous évoquons le mot « durabilité », nous ne devons pas seulement penser à l'environnement mais aussi à son aspect social, non seulement la responsabilité des consommateurs mais aussi celle des producteurs.
Skills4Sports Strategic Alliance in Palestine for combatting youth unemployment
On 29 March 2022, Palestine Sports for Life held an infoday in Ramallah, Palestine bringing together 32 representatives from governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, universities and the private sector for the purpose of discussing the challenge of increasing the employment opportunities for NEETs (persons Not in Employment, Education or Training) in the sport sector and the ways in which Skills4Sports addresses this issue. The stakeholders who attended the event signed a memorandum, committing themselves to the goals and principles of the project.
