PPI4MED in Spain launches its national living lab on Public Procurement Innovation

This video shows the virtual launching of the Spanish National Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) Living Lab. It took place on April 23rd, 2021, led by Spanish National Research Center (CSIC), and more than 170 participants attended the first meeting on the role of science in society, innovation, and knowledge transfer.

There are two parts to these launching, the first consists on institutional speaches from the ENI CBC MED Programme, the Vicepresident for Scientific and Technical Research, the General Secretariat of Innovation and the General Subdirector of Innovation of the Ministry of Science. The second part was a roundtable with speakers from a wide range of organisations covering regional research centres, universities research institutes, private companies and even local authorities. They discussed the current situation on PPI in Spain and their different approach as public administration, as researcher and as private company.
