The National Center for Research and Development, Jordanian partner of PPI4MED, organised its first session to set up a living lab on innovation procurement through an online workshop that took place on the 5th May 2021.
This brainstorming session on the implementation of the Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) model focused on the health sector. 
Among the main conclusions of the session, there is a need of an umbrella entity that would coordinate in Jordan researchers, governmental bodies and the private sectors as the main actors are working in silos.
This entity would set the priorities and define the national needs in terms of innovation procurement.
