Enterprising, creative, innovative and eager to learn are words that define you? You have an innovative idea or a green solution that responds to an environmental problem and you would like to turn it into a sustainable and successful business?

Our Palestinian partner Leaders International is looking for profiles similar to yours.

In the context of GIMED, Leaders International calls for application for entrepreneurs of businesses at different stages of development:

  • Ideation: the entrepreneur has a business idea and/or a prototype
  • Early-stage: the sustainable business already has customers and revenues

The selected entrepreneurs will access to a special programme designed to guide them through a green journey to turn their innovative idea into a successful business.

How does the journey look like?

In total, 40 early-stage entrepreneurs and 40 ideation-stage entrepreneurs will be selected.

They will begin with a 2-month capacity building program tailored to support them in developing their green business models, access to finance and market strategies.

Each group will pitch in front of a selected jury that will select 20 entrepreneurs from each group, to continue to the next acceleration phase. The 20 ideation-stage entrepreneurs and the 20 early-stage entrepreneurs will benefit from one-on-one coaching sessions tailored to their needs.

After completing the coaching support phase, they will compete in a pitching event where 4 will be selected per group to win grant prizes. The participants will get the opportunity to meet with investors to connect and potentially secure funding. The final 4 will receive a grant of 7,500€ to be spent on technical and business support. They will also have scheduled regional and international events to secure B2B meetings, trade deals and potential investments.

In total 4 early-stage entrepreneurs and 4-ideation stage entrepreneurs will receive the grant.

If you are interested, please submit your application no later than 30 December 2020, through our partner website.
