After the first round of lectures held in April, the Regional Activity Centre for Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP/RAC), as STAND Up! Lead Beneficiary, delivered a second session of online workshops specifically designed for the training of local mentors who will have the task of assisting and supporting a selection of 4 green entrepreneurs in each of the partner countries for a seven-month incubation phase.

Held in early July, this Training of Trainers session was carried out by SCP/RAC through 3 online webinars of about 3:30 hours each, with the aim of introducing local mentors to the Green Business Plan (GBP) development methodology, the online methodology which will be the basis used throughout the incubation period in order to accompany the process and guide both mentors and the green entrepreneurs.

It aims to go one step further than the Green Business Model development methodology by providing free access to the most innovative set of sustainable business development tools designed for entrepreneurs and business support organizations and available into the Switchers Online Platform.

The main objective of these workshops were enabling local mentors to transfer their knowledge to the green entrepreneurs, to replicate the training and to mentor them to move from a Green Business Model to a complete Business Plan drawing.

Divided into groups, the participants mentors have analyzed the different sections of a business plan under different perspectives (structure, eco-design practices, general compliance with GBP methodology, good practices) and also learnt that mentoring process means to carefully plan GBP’s milestones.
