Med-EcoSuRe co-organizes a summer school on Micro-Grid energy systems in Tunisia

The QehnA research team - Electrical Systems Laboratory (L.S.E.) organizes a summer school at the National Engineering School of Tunis, partner of Med-EcoSuRe from June 20 to 23, 2023.

The summer school, untitled "Micro-Grids 2023: Technical and economic modeling and Benefit from real time with OPAL-RT", will be organized over four days including a 2-day workshop dedicated to young researchers on real-time simulation and the Controller Hardware-in-the-Loop approach.

Micro-Grid energy units installed at ENIT will be the object of the summer of the school, among which is SMARTNESS (Smart Micro-grid plAtfoRm wiTh aN Energy management SyStem) which is a Micro-Grid platform powered by PV solar panels and which enables the generation of decentralized renewable energy, the investigation of new concepts such as Energy Management systems, Blockchain technology and the VPP (Virtual Power plant).

June 20 & 21, 2023: general public, registration free but compulsory (number of places limited to 30)

June 22 & 23, 2023: for young researchers, with fees (number of places limited to 10)
