BorjCedria Technopark Management Company, Tunisian partner of the GreenBuilding project, organized on the 22nd November 2022 a workshop for the establishment of a Green Building cluster in Tunisia.

In order to create the international green building cluster, the BorjCedria Technopark Management Company in collaboration with all the partners implements a database regrouping all the stakeholders of the buildings energy efficiency in the Mediterranean region. Numerous of new members were registered in the cluster after its initiation through this fruitful workshop.

The following representatives from ENI CBC Med Programme projects participated online: Mrs. Elena Gigliarelli representing BEEP Project and Mrs. Ines Khalifa representing Med-EcoSuRe project. Mrs. Marina Kouta representing the GreenBuilding project and Mrs. Konstantina Marousi representing the Efficient Buildings project (Interreg MED Programme). In fact, this initiative started months ago, when both projects, GreenBuilding and Efficient Buildings (EB) were looking for synergetic actions to better promote their achievements.

More specifically, Efficient Buildings project promoted its outputs in Mediterranean countries in the southern shore taking into account local specificities. In particular, the Efficient Buildings (EB) capitalisation conclusions and the content of the Joint Position Paper are now accessible to all stakeholders involved in the management and use of the public buildings, and to the relevant policy makers who shape energy policies. In this regard, EB conclusions and recommendations will reach a wide range of stakeholders in the South part of the Mediterranean and these countries obtained additional tools for improving their energy efficient policies. A matter of high importance was the valuable presentations of the other presenters who focused on the National Strategy in Tunisia.

Given this occasion, Efficient Buildings (EB) representatives are now members of the Green Building cluster, thus allowing the interaction within these two projects. Behind and in front of the scenes, the representatives of the BorjCedria Technopark Management Company (Tunisia)!
