Blue Economy is the focus of the event to be held in Rome on the 4th of October (from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm) and organised by Regione Lazio, vice-president of the National Committee for the ENI CBC MED Programme, within the framework of the “Complementary Operational Program for the National Governance of European Territorial Cooperation Programmes 2014-2020” (PAC ETC).
Over the day, panels of scientists and academics will highlight issues related to the increasingly worrying effects of climate change, the current environmental emergency, and the importance of biodiversity protection and ecological transition to strengthen resilience and sustainability across the Mediterranean.
Particular attention will be given to the blue economy and marine ecosystems sectors, which will be analyzed at various levels concerning the development of a sustainable economy and through the thematic priorities of the ENI CBC MED Programme
