GreenBuilding joins the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW)!

The ENI CBC Med Programme, alongside its 8 projects dealing with energy efficiency, has been selected to participate in the European Sustainable Energy Week, the biggest annual event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe, to be held from 26th to 30th September 2022 in Brussels and online. Organized by the European Commission, this event comprises a series of activities aimed at building a secure energy future for Europe.

One-week left

The Programme will participate in two different ways:

  • On the 26th and 27th of September, we will be holding a stand at the Energy Fair.

We will be happy to meet you there and inform you about our project activities!

  • On the 28th September from 9:30 to 11:00, we will organize a session as part of the high-level Policy Conference under the title ‘Energy Efficiency and renewable energies to drive building energy performance: local examples from the Mediterranean regions’.

Our project at a glance!

The project, started in August 2019, aims at reducing energy consumption and adverse environmental impact, by using RES and energy efficiency measures in public buildings, since renewable energies represent a natural competitive advantage for MED area. The project plans and supports three cost-effective energy renovations of public buildings across climatic zones (Greece, Tunisia, Jordan) using renewable energy and energy efficiency measures, while monitoring the effectiveness of refurbishment using energy measuring devices.

GreenBuilding participation in the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) will highlight the engagement of building users in all the renovation phases and the importance of the energy monitoring in public buildings!
