On March 15th, the CRE@CTIVE call for subgrants concluded, with 250 people registering on the platform and 81 project proposals submitted. The results showed great interest and untapped innovation from the traditional sectors in the Mediterranean region.

The CRE@CTIVE team is evaluating the proposals to select the best 16 ideas. The results will be published on May 13th.

There are a few steps to the assessment. First, the administrative check, which ensures that the eligibility conditions are met. Some criteria look at whether the partner meets the minimum requirements, such as whether the proposal aligns with the CRE@CTIVE call objectives and the L@B chosen, whether the applicants fit a specific profile (eligible profiles: textile, leather, footwear, or clothing MSMEs, technological-based company, or cultural-creative industry), and whether they agreed to the declarations and minimis.

The proposals that met all of the requirements at this stage will be evaluated by an Evaluation Board Committee made up of two experts from each L@B. The ideas will be rated by the two L@B-experts based on the L@B selected, using the evaluation grid included with the application guidelines.

The shortlist is made up of the best five ideas from each L@B. The shortlisted proposals will be evaluated by the Evaluation Board Committee on May 12th, after which the best 16 awarded ideas will be determined.

The 16 final projects will be presented through the CRE@CTIVE communication channels. So stay tuned to learn more about them and their innovative ideas to help the Textile, Clothing, Footwear, and Leather industries.
