RESTART MED! to deliver training on sustainable tourism products creation and promotion in Italy

On the 5th of April 2022 from 11 am to 6 pm at the Mandrarossa Winery of Menfi (Italy), CISP, the International Committee for the Development of Peoples, leader of the RESTART MED! project organizes the first two modules of the training program promoted in the framework of the RESTART MED project! and based on the RESTART MED! training manual.

We start from Sicily to capitalize on projects related to the enhancement of sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean with a transfer of best practices to the operators selected among those who have already contributed to the success of the CROSSDEV project in the territory in the last 3 years.

11 am Introduction to the RESTART MED! Project, RESTART MED training method and manual and the RESTART MED! subgrants for Sicily by Emanuela Panke, CISP tourism expert

12am-2pm Seminar by Antonio Barone, Director of The Phoenicians' Route, Cultural Itinerary of the Council of Europe, and best practices of the CROSSDEV project. "Sustainability as a pillar for the certification of Cultural Routes. Examples of sustainable tourism products linked to the Routes"

2 pm Visit to the Mandrarossa Winery

3-6 pm Seminar by Andrea Belloni, Project Manager of the CAST project (COSME) for the European Projects Office of Lazio Innova "Living Lab CAST: construction of integrated service offer packages and creation of a partnership and a network project, methodologies and management tools
