The Confederation of Citizen Enterprises in Tunisia (CONECT), which is the Tunisian partner of the GIMED project, has launched a training program to benefit 25 green entrepreneurs in the country. The call for applications is now open, targeting entrepreneurs with green, sustainable and circular projects in various fields such as: organic agriculture, sustainable waste management, renewable energies, sustainable tourism, organic textile, co-sustainable construction or biological cosmetics production.

The training program is offered under GIMED, an EU-funded project in the framework of the ENI CBC Med Programme. The selected candidates will be able to access a capacity building training to enable them to develop their ideas and consolidate a green business plan. GIMED will support them in acquiring useful knowledge and skills and accompany them in the search of private financial resources.

The program will include an initial 10-days-long training that will analyse and create sustainable business models from a social and environmental perspective, besides giving access to markets. Then, the training program will be followed by coaching sessions. The most promising projects will be selected to access to group and one-to-one coaching sessions, which will be held at the end of the training.

Participants who complete the training will participate in a competition that will give them a chance to win a 7,500€ grant to support their business development. Applications must be sent no later than Monday, 7th of March 2022. To get registered in this training opportunity, you can access the following link
