Extra virgin olive oil marketing workshop, in the ARTOLIO project in Kalamata (Greece).

The workshop is organised in the framework of the ARTOLIO project (Profitable and Sustainable Artisanal Olive Oil Industry in the Mediterranean). ARTOLIO, the European project to support small olive producers across the Mediterranean, which is part of the ENI CBC MED programme for cross-border cooperation in the Mediterranean, is a "platform" concerning the Mediterranean basin involving operators from the Mediterranean countries of Israel. Its main objective is to exploit and promote the extra virgin olive oil market by investing in equipment and know-how in traditional olive oil producers and small mill owners.

The workshop will focus on the value of extra virgin olive oil as a product with unique characteristics and the methods that can be used to communicate these characteristics.

The principles and methods of marketing and communication techniques specific to extra virgin olive oil marketing companies will be presented in order to provide participants with a solid basis on how to promote their product.

The workshop is addressed to current participants of the ARTOLIO programme, but also to a limited number of entrepreneurs and farmers, who can register at https://forms.gle/NRfME45seQTsiJ7K6.
