As part of Agri-food Innovation Day (AFID), Berytech will select the 10-exhibiting dairy-preneurs and SMEs with the highest potential to showcase their innovative technologies or products in the dairy sector in the heart of the event. A unique opportunity to boost the business capacity of the startups, gain visibility and benefit from open innovation opportunities with leading companies. 

This opportunity is in the context of the Transdairy project, funded by ENI CBC MED that aims at empowering the dairy sector in Lebanon.

In addition, matchmaking sessions will be organized by Transdairy to allow our dairy-preneurs to get the chance to build long lasting partnerships, have access to funding and investment opportunities and receive mentorship and know-how from the key actors in the dairy sector.

The objective is to gather the most promising dairy-preneurs and startups contributing to resolving the many addressed challenges in the Dairy sector in Lebanon and the region by innovation and technology.

Who Can Attend

• Innovators and entrepreneurs working on Dairy Value Chain solutions with a product or prototype in the Dairy, ICT, or Bio/Nano technologies industries looking for partnerships and seeking investment
• Startups, SMEs, Cooperatives having a product or prototype in the Dairy, ICT, or Bio/Nano technologies industries looking for partnerships and seeking investment
• Farmers with a product or prototype in the Dairy, ICT, or Bio/Nano technologies industries looking for partnerships and seeking investment

Selection Criteria

• Participants from Lebanon, Greece, Italy and Tunisia are eligible to apply.

Participants must have an innovative idea, a product, a prototype, or entity addressing the Dairy Value Chain opportunities to showcase during the event

Participants should demonstrate economic viability and combine innovation, applicability, and team experience

• Startups, SMEs and entrepreneurs should have at least proof of concept
