CROSSDEV: time to learn seasonal tuna recipes with the Tuna Chef training in Aqaba, Jordan

The Gulf of Aqaba, South of Jordan, is known as a tourist's paradise full of life and adventures for marine’s lovers. It is home to more than 500 species of fish. One of them, tuna, is considered one of the best fish available in the area; so much that is used in several special traditional dishes.

With this in mind, and in response to project’s objective of enhancing tourists’ attractiveness of the area, CROSSDEV partner The Royal Marine Conservation Society of Jordan (JREDS), in cooperation with associated partner Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) and Al- Balqa' Applied University (BAU), will hold a training course focused on tuna.

The first of its kind in Aqaba, the training will involve 15 professionals selected from local traditional seafood restaurants that will learn the secrets and importance of seasonal recipes with tuna.

The class will be held in the training kitchen of Al- Balqa' Applied University, in Hotel and Tourism faculty.
