NAWAMED : première réunion des parties prenantes en Tunisie pour discuter de l'adoption de pratiques en matière d´eaux non conventionnelles

During this 1^st National Stakeholders Meeting 1^st Tunisian e-Water Table “Barriers for the uptake of WDM/NCWR practices in Tunisia”, organized by the Centre for Water Research and Technologies (CERTE), the next 21^st of June, stakeholders shall identify and discuss specific barriers occurring within their country/regional context and come up with strategies and practices on how to address such barriers in order to facilitate the integration of non-conventional water resource in water demand management practices.

The Water Table is organized in the frame of WP5 leaded by the Energy and Water Agency (EWA) of Malta, partner of NAWAMED Project and will be divided through 3 sessions. The first session will focus on National and Med Frames, then the second one will be dedicated to Lessons learnt from Grey Water projects implementation and finally, session 3 will be a discussion panel with National stakeholders on barriers which are limiting the introduction of greywater reuse at local levels.

At the end of the meeting, a set of conclusions and recommendations will be reported for the upcoming stakeholders' meeting. The final conclusions will lead NAWAMED partners to the formulation of a set of country specific policy recommendations. Furthermore, these conclusions will be key to the development of a “Mediterranean Policy Document” which shall identify the key policy approaches required to support the increased adoption of WDM and NCWR at Mediterranean level.

The online event, from 14:00 to 16:30 (Tunis time) will be developed in French language and is open to all under registration.
