The external evaluator’s experts will support the assesssment of proposals received by third actors within a sub-grant call that will be launched in the following months. The sub-grant call will be aimed at financing SSE-PA cooperation projects aiming at improving welfare and social services for vulnerable groups in order to increase their opportunities for social and labor inclusion.
The calls for proposals which will be lunch soon! will close on April 30th, 2021, after which the proposals will be assigned to the external evaluators in each country involved in project implementation, who will be asked to review the proposals with regards to the quality of the proposed project, the expected impact on the project and the clarity of the work plan. Evaluators will be asked to rank the proposals based on the evaluation criteria that will be provided by the MoreThanAJob consortium.
Independent external evaluators will assess the submitted proposals and should maintain strict confidentiality with respect to the whole evaluation process.

The following criteria will be applied for the selection of the experts:
a) At least 70% of the evaluators will be from the SSE field,
b) At least 40% will be women,
c) Each expert must have at least 10 years’ experience,
d) Experts that have already evaluated proposals for the EC will be preferred.

MoreThanAJob aims at promoting the social inclusion of vulnerable, unemployed people by applying best practices for more effective collaboration among the Social and Solidarity Economy actors and the public administration.
The project is coordinated by the An-Najah National University (Palestine) and involves other 6 partners: Nablus chamber of commerce and industry (Palestine); Ministry of Public Works and Housing (Jordan); Mutah University (Jordan); Business Consultancy and Training Services (Lebanon); EUROTRAINING (Greece); and CESIE (Italy).
