Le partenaire égyptien CRE@CTIVE a organisé un événement hybride avec succès présentant 4 projets financés par l'UE en présence de représentants de l'État

CRE@CTIVE project partner, the Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations - CEEBA, together with the Arab Academy for Science Technology and Maritime Transport -AAST proudly announce the success of the hybrid "Blending BSO (Business Support Organization) & incubators support" event which took place on the 6th of May 2021, on the AAST Smart Village campus.

The event was held with the highly valued support and participation of H.E Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation; H.E Dr. Nivine Gamea, Egyptian Minister of Industry and Trade; H.E Amb. Raouf Saad, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and H.E EU Amb. Christian Berger, who all expressed their interminable support and encouragement of the efforts and achievements of EU-funded project in Egypt. 

The hybrid event was organized in cooperation with long-time partners: BusinessMed, Alexandria Chamber of Commerce and the Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry - ASCAME and moderated by Secretary General of CEEBA, Dr. Alaa Ezz in attendance and participation of multiple keynote speakers such as H.E. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar; President of AAST who welcomed attendees, introduced the work of the Arab Academy in terms of supporting innovation and research and expressed his support for the ongoing great efforts made by ENI projects for the development of various sectors in Egypt. Mr. Ahmed el Wakil, President of ASCAME highlighted the various benefits brought to Mediterranean economies ranging from job creation to bridging Mediterranean technological, gender and economic divide for a stronger more united region. Mrs. Jihen Boutiba, Secretary General of BusinessMed outlined the work done by the participating organization for a thriving economy in the Mediterranean. The coordinator of the ENI CBC MED Joint Technical Secretariat, Mr. Fabrizio Paloni, representing the program also expressed his support to the event and highlighted the importance of the creation of cross-project as well as cross-border synergies.

The hybrid initiative brought together and introduced the INVESTMED, CRE@CTIVE and INTECMED projects funded by the European Union under the ENI CBC Med Programme as well as the regional EU ENI EBSOMED project, which were each presented by a project representative in order to highlight the project activities, services and benefits to innovative Mediterranean SMEs, entrepreneurs and startups with a focus, for this event, on Egyptian beneficiaries.
