Lancement du projet MoreThanAJob à Amman

On 27th and 28th of November 2019, the partners of the EU-funded ENI CBC MED "MoreThanAJob" project met in Amman, Jordan for the kick-off meeting. The event was organized by ANNU – An-Najah National University, Lead beneficiary.

The project " Reinforcing social and solidarity economy for the unemployed, uneducated and refugees" (MoreThanAJob) gathers 7 partners from 5 countries, namely Palestine, Jordan ,Lebanon ,Italy ,and Greece, and aims at Enforcing social inclusion of vulnerable, unemployed populations by applying best practices for more effective collaboration of the SSE actors with the public administration.

Main achievements of the kick-off meeting are: Setting a joint starting line (history and expectations); Establishing a joint vision of the project and a common view of the project structure and objectives; Clarifying and understanding the administrative, contractual and financial management principles; Setting the implementation strategy and agree on responsibilities; Defining steps for successful stakeholders involved in the project and targets (action items) to be achieved within the 1st semester of the project.

The project has started on September 4th, 2019 and will last until September 3th, 2022.

Project Expected achievements : 3 train-the-trainer workshops , 100 participants in training sessions for SSE actors , 90 public officers trained in employment and education schemes for refugees , € 200,000 in sub-grants to support innovative SSE initiatives , 10 agreements between public administrations and relevant stakeholders for coordinated planning and implementation of social services , 6 reports containing new/improved policy recommendations
