BEEP : "BIM & Digital : Innovation et transformation digitale de l'environnement bâti"

The International Academy After the Damages, the Clust-ER Build, and the Interreg Firespill Project, co-organized this online event that took place on December 1, 2 and 15. The objective of the conference was to open a dialogue involving the main actors: Governance, Entrepreneurship and Research, in order to address the issue of the use of BIM as a tool to support the design and construction process, highlighting its potential and ability to innovate a sector that is by its nature traditionalist and rigid.
The conference addressed the different opportunities for interoperability of the BIM tool in the three areas mentioned above, developing the topic over three days: the first focused on administrative-legislative management, the second on application cases and new technologies, while the third day was focused on industrial - innovative research.
The program schedule featured speakers from the Italian Public Administration and from the Academic and Applied research world, both national and international. Among the projects presented was BEEP, which was introduced by Lucía Ramírez, architect at the Valencia Institute of Building (IVE) that is the Spanish partner of the BEEP project.
The conference was followed by 153 participants and, at the end of the three intensive days, the Award ceremony of the BIM&DIGITAL Award 20 was held, an international competition for design and digitization of the BIM process.
