‘Find the Mediterranean in Your City’ photography contest: Vote for your favorite photos now!
The moment you've all been waiting for is here! We are excited to reveal the preselected photographs from the "Find the Mediterranean in Your City" Photography Contest 2023, organized by Interreg NEXT MED to celebrate the Mediterranean Day promoted annually by the Union for the Mediterranean.
Selected photographs: We were overwhelmed by the outstanding quality of the pictures submitted by young photography enthusiasts aged 18-30. After careful consideration, our Selection Committee made of five members of the Programme has chosen a set of remarkable photographs that truly capture the beauty and spirit of the Mediterranean.
Public voting: Now it's your turn to make a difference! These preselected photographs are open to a public vote until November 27th, 2023 at 1 PM (European Central time), and we invite everyone, regardless of their nationality or place of residence, to participate in the public vote. There are two specific categories for voting:
- Mediterranean Partner Countries (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia and Türkiye)
- European Union Mediterranean Countries (Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain)
This is your chance to be a part of recognizing and celebrating the Mediterranean Day. Your votes will determine the winners and your support is invaluable.
Save the date: The results, including the winners and the final ranking, will be announced on November 28th, 2023 at 1 PM (European Central Time). You can catch the big reveal on the website and relevant social media profiles (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn) of the Interreg NEXT MED Programme.
Recognition: The two winner photographers will be invited to present their photo at an Interreg NEXT MED Event. Travel costs and accommodation will be covered by the Programme.
Thank you for being a part of this exciting journey to discover the Mediterranean in unexpected places. Stay tuned, vote for your favorites, and help us honor the outstanding photographers who have captured the essence of the Mediterranean.
