CROSSDEV in Lebanon: exhibition opening and sub-grant pre-launch

As part of the project CROSSDEV – Cultural Routes for Sustainable, Social and Economic Development in Mediterranean –, funded by the European Union through the ENI CBC MED Programme, and in collaboration with CEPF – Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund, the Association for the Protection of Jabal Moussa (APJM) is proud to announce the opening of the exhibition “The Budding Botanist”.

The event will take place at the center near the Nurseries of Jabal Moussa located in Yahchouch village, one of the villages surrounding Jabal Moussa.

The event will also be the occasion for a pre-launch of the CROSSDEV sub-grants in the area, which will be briefly introduced to the participants ahead of the official publication.

The event includes:

1. Opening of “The Budding Botanist”
2. Pre-launching of the subgrants within the CROSSDEV project, for the guesthouses and bakeries
3. Launching of the new CEPF Project “Revival of traditional agricultural practices”
4. Visit of the center and the nurseries

The visitors will have the occasion to get to know more about local fauna and flora, as well as cultural sites, through herbariums, photos and panels displayed on the walls of the center. A documentary on the CROSSDEV project progress and findings will be featured during the event.
