CLUSTER unites with MoreThanAJob to support Social Solidarity Economy in Palestine

On 5 July 2022, the Palestinian partner of CLUSTER, Business Women Forum (BWF), joined forces with MoreThanAJob in the workshop "Effective Practices in the Field of Social Solidarity Economy towards a Consolidated Palestinian Community" organized by the Nablus Chamber of Commerce and An-Najah National University.

Aimed at discussing effective practices for the employment of vulnerable groups, such as unemployed young people, specially women, the workshop developed a Paper of Suggestions and Recommendations on Employment Policies tailored to the Palestinian labour market.

The participation of the Business Women Forum in this workshop was an opportunity to foster dialogue amongst Social and Economic Actors that play a big role in reinforcing and advancing youth and women employment, fighting against poverty.

Through a panel discussion, BWF presented CLUSTER and its objectives of social inclusion, uncovering connection points with MoreThanAJob, and providing insights in the policy paper developed. 

Thanks to BWF participation in the workshop, An-Najah National University joined CLUSTER Network of Social Economy Actors, and will continue to interchange with the aim of empowering yound people and women in Palestine, improving their skills in the field of sustainable economy.
