BERLIN organises 3rd meeting of the Intelligent Utilization of Photovoltaic Technology Hub

The Intelligent Utilization of Photovoltaic Technology in the Mediterranean region (IUPVMED) Hub investigates the integration of photovoltaics (PV), energy storage systems (ESS), and demand side management (DSM), under the concept of a hybrid nanogrid system. The creation of the IUPVMED Hub aims at promoting the wider adoption of distributed energy resources in the Mediterranean (MED) area in the form of a PV+ESS+DSM system. The Hub will be utilized for sharing information regarding regional legislation among the participating countries within this technology, and to propose strategies that will aid its promotion. The aim of this Hub is to become a leading resource for supporting research collaboration, dissemination, and technology transfer in the MED area.

During the 3^rd Meeting the members of the Hub will have the chance to be informed on the latest developments concerning the pilot activities in each partner’s country and discuss the issues:

1. Operation of PV+BESS+DSM nanogrid systems: Best practices and troubleshooting actions
2. Enhancing resident awareness on PV+BESS+DSM microgrid systems

The event will be held amongst the IUPVMED Hub members
