The BERLIN’s pilot buildings in Israel pave the way for the transformation of buildings into energy independent buildings. Yeelim School is the first school in Israel to become energy independent with zero emissions, with the usage of the BERLIN project technological solution of Battery Energy Storage System + Photovoltaic + Demand Side Management (BESS+PV+DSM). Pupils of the schools can experience first-hand the benefits of this transformation.
