STAND Up! - From the Med is a project working on recycled fabrics for outdoor and garden decoration
Angel and Marc are the two entrepreneurs behind From the Med, a project that works on fonctional fabrics for outdoor decoration, specially in gardens.
They both have a huge background on the textile industry. The first products that they have created are outdoor cushions with water-repellent.
It's one out of the 40 projects selected by TEXFOR that received training and expert support from STAND Up! project.

5th Local Microfinance Forum promoted by the Italian-Arab Cooperation Chamber and broadcast by Matex Tv (13th April, Italian language).
The Forum was part of a cycle of events aimed at involving main public and private institutions and donors working in each project area.

The Med Pearls project, funded by the European Union under the ENI CBC Med Programme, has the goal to set up a network of 26 Slow Tourism products across 6 Med countries (Egypt, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Palestine and Spain). These products (also called ‘PEARLS’) will share similar characteristics, follow the Slow Tourism spirit and offer equivalent and fully adapted experiences in the different countries. Thus, promoting the Mediterranean in a unique platform to enjoy Slow Tourism experiences at a reduced pace.
