The Greater Irbid Municipality (GIM) and the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), partners of the MED-InA project funded by the European Union’s ENI CBC Med Programme, have produced this video to present their actions in the field of waste management and reduction.

COVID-19 has many negative consequences on the economy in general and on the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in specific as they have modest resources and many of them could not sustain during this pandemic.

INNOMED-UP project promotes the Circular Economy practices among the Cultural & Creative Industries (CCIs) SMEs instead of the linear economy, as a tool to promote green practices, save resources and improve the production and income of these SMEs.

In order to do so, the project provide technical and financial support and connect these SMEs with the relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure modifying the legislation to support this category.

The National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), based in Athens, Greece, as the Lead Partner of INNOMED-UP project, organized and co-organized selected activities, in 2021, to promote the principles of Circular Economy and to introduce a shift into a circular production and consumption paradigm for local Cultural & Creative Industries (CCIs) SMEs. Innovation and education were the basic pillars.

On the 6^th of March 2022, Birzeit University, INNOMED-UP Project Partner in Palestine, has terminated the last phase of the second community INNOMED-UP awareness workshop regarding the Socio-Urban Circularity in Hebron.
