One of RESMYLE's objectives is to raise awareness on sustainable development among young NEETs by providing youth organisations with fun activities to carry out with them.
RESMYLE has entered an important stage which is the mobilisation of youth organisations in order to sensitise young people to sustainable development in Tunisia and in all the partner countries.
The process is to contact the organisations and to meet them in person or online in order to present the tools available.
This is what the Association of Environmental Education, AERE, a Tunisian partner based in Hammamet, has done by meeting the Nabeul Sectoral Maintenance Training Centre (CSFM Nabeul) which accompanies more than 1100 young people each year around maintenance-related professions.
The centre was created in 1989 and is placed under the supervision of the Tunisian Vocational Training Agency and the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment.
Salem Salhi, project manager and Chiheb Ben Fredj, communication officer for RESMYLE at AERE, warmly thank the director of the CSFM Nabeul: Mr Rafel Zouaoui and his colleagues Houssine Ferjani and Lassaad Ghoul, teachers, who confirmed their interest in integrating the challenges of sustainable development into their activities.
Next step will be a meeting with the facilitators in charge of the "Environmental Culture" module held at the Maison de l'Environnement (AERE headquarters) to test some of the teaching resources to be used and developed by RESMYLE teams. This test will enable the available resources to be improved.
If you are interested in implementing these activities within your structure, please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
