The Palestine Information and Communication Technology Incubator (PICTI), on behalf of Med Pearls project is seeking to hire a service provider team to set-up and develop the Med Pearls online platform. A promotional website to boost the promotion and commercialization of the Mediterranean region as a Slow Tourism quality destination.

The website will inform about Slow Tourism practices and philosophy, the destinations of the project and will link to the Mediterranean travel agencies offering the slow tourism products ("Pearls") being developed by the project.

The main target audiences of the online platform are:

• Travellers who are looking forward to engaging in a rich touristic experience in the Med Pearls destinations.
• Destination Management Organizations (DMO) linked to the selected areas (directly or indirectly).
• Experience providers.
• Specialised tour operators.
• Online booking platforms
• Tourism media, especially those focused on sustainable and Slow Tourism

SlowTourism (ST) invites travellers to discover new locations sustainably and responsibly while taking time to interact directly with local communities. In this regard, the Med Pearls project strives to present the Mediterranean as a unique and integral destination to experience the Med lifestyle through the SlowTourism travel approach.
