AQUACYCLE Visit to two Wastewater Treatment Plants in Nabeul Governorate of Tunisia

The visit by a team of theCentre des Recherches et des Technologies des Eaux (CERTE) which took place on 4 March 2021, was aimed at the evaluation of the different treatment processes at the Khanguet El Hojjej and Beni Ayache wastewater treatment plants. Both treatment plants serve rural localities within the Nabeul Governorate of Tunisia.

The motivation for the evaluation was to compare the wastewater characteristics of these two localities with those of Bent Saidane, where AQUACYCLE’s eco-innovative wastewater technology is planned to be demonstrated. Further details on the location and characteristics of the two wastewater treatment plants are outlined in this report on the visit by CERTE.
