BIC EURONOVA will host the final conference of the SME4SMARTCITIES project on 21^st June 2023 in Málaga, Spain! This exciting event will bring together industry leaders, researchers, and decision-makers from across the Mediterranean area to discuss the achievements of the project and explore ways to further advance the development of smart city solutions.

SME4SMARTCITIES is an ENI CBC MED funded project, that aims to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) develop innovative solutions for smart cities in the Mediterranean region. Over the years, the project has worked with SMEs across the Mediterranean to develop smart solutions in areas such as urban mobility, energy efficiency, and waste management.

The city of Málaga, located on the southern coast of Spain, was chosen as the venue for the final conference due to its commitment to innovation and sustainability. Málaga has been a role model in Europe for the implementation of smart city solutions, such as traffic management and the promotion of renewable energy.

During the final conference, attendees will have the opportunity to hear first-hand the experiences of the SMEs that participated in the SME4SMARTCITIES project. City representatives will also share their experiences of working with SMEs and discuss how they can further collaborate to develop smart city solutions. The final conference will also feature a series of conferences and round tables addressing key topics in the development of smart city solutions. Topics will include urban mobility, energy efficiency, waste management, and smart city governance. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with experts and industry leaders on these topics and discuss how they can further advance the development of smart city solutions.

In addition to the formal sessions, the final conference will also include a number of social activities and networking opportunities. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Malaga, meet other industry leaders, and network with potential collaborators.
