NAWAMED: Technical training to develop the capacities in designing the Nature-Based Solutions Technologies in Jordan

The University of Jordan in collaboration with IRIDRA, NAWAMED technical partner, are planning to organize a technical training on May 8-9, 2023 at the University of Jordan.
    
The workshop will focus mainly on developing and building the capacities of the participants in understanding the criteria for designing nature-based solutions and implementation, identifying planning barriers and opportunities, and applying the basic principles of designing nature-based solutions for grey water treatment.  

Participants from local public bodies, companies, architects, NGOs and water utilities will be involved in the training and will discuss issues related to sustainable water management practices in urban areas and the legal framework for urban use of non-conventional water resources (NCWR). Moreover, the workshop will include a field visit to the University of Jordan pilot plant (Al-Zahra’a dormitory).
