NAWAMED 4th Water Table in Sicily: "Tools and strategies to promote the proposed solutions at regional level"

This coming 16th March, SVI.MED. Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Sustainable Development and Iridra Srl, as partners of the NAWAMED project "Nature Based Solutions for Domestic Water Reuse in Mediterranean Countries", in synergy with the Municipality of Ferla (Syracuse) as associate partner and the Network of Technical Professions of Syracuse, will hold the 4th and last technical meeting called "Water Table"
After the 3rd Water Table, which focused on the "Technical-economic feasibility of natural solutions", this 4th Water Table will address the topic "Tools and strategies to promote the proposed solutions at regional level", taking into account the macro topic "The use of non-conventional grey water - and rainwater".
After the opening of the event by Barbara Sarnari (SVI.MED), who will present the Nawamed project, Giulio Conte (Iridra) and Francesco Giunta (Syracuse Technical Professions Network) will present the document "Contribution to the drafting or updating of Sicilian municipal regulations for sustainable water management". 
On the basis of the document presented, a round table will be developed involving various actors from local administration, governance and research, such as the Municipality of Ferla, the CERSU - Regional Center for Urban Studies of Sicily, the University of Catania and the Syracuse Technical Professions Network. A series of general provisions will be discussed, which can be incorporated (in the form of detailed regulations) into the specific municipal regulations provided for in the standard.
