DECOST: Final Event in the city of Vic will show that the new waste management system is intended to be permanent.

The DECOST consortium will meet once again at facilities in Vic of the BETA Technological Center, coordinator of the project, to discuss the final technical details of the project's implementation. The implementation of the four community composting pilots created thanks to the project in Spain, Jordan, Palestine and Italy will be discussed in order to, with a view to the future, create the conditions that will facilitate their continuity.

The DECOST project aims to complete the organic matter cycle in a decentralised way and through management models that link community and/or household composting systems with urban agriculture projects.
