NAWAMED: stakeholders meeting to discuss the cost feasibility assessment and strategies for fostering the water reuse in Jordan

The 3rd and the 4th national stakeholders meeting are organized by the University of Jordan (UJ) in cooperation with the Jordan Engineers Association on January 18th, 2023.

During this meeting, stakeholders will investigate and debate about the methodology behind undertaking a cost-feasibility analysis for water demand management (WDM) and non-conventional water resource (NCWR) practices, and assess how to overcome common challenges tackled when promoting the adoption of related practices and approaches. In addition, success stories on the uptake of technologies for the use of NCWR and WDM practices will be presented.

The national stakeholders meeting will gather professionals and experts from public and private sectors that have a crucial role in the water management. At the end of the meeting, a set of conclusions and recommendations will be reported. The final conclusions will lead NAWAMED partners to the formulation of a set of country specific policy recommendations.
