U-SOLVE project was present this year at the Techne Summit, an international event focused on investment and entrepreneurship, which was held from November 5 to 8, 2022, in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Egypt. More than 21 000 people and 800 startups attended from more than 70 countries. The Techne Summit aims to impact multiple sectors and stakeholders of the startup communities in the Mediterranean region through showcasing different technologies and their application in each industry.

U-SOLVE Egyptian team seized the opportunity of being in this summit to announce U-SOLVE Urban Living Lab, which will be based in Borg El Arab and will become a center for incubating and developing local start-ups and creative ideas. Moreover, it will provide regional business training in the form of practical and operational modules in cooperation with project partners in Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Jordan and Palestine to support entrepreneurs' ideas that can be implemented.

The event was also a chance to introduce U-SOLVE and its role in the development of the urban area in the city of Burj Al Arab in Alexandria in terms of reaching out entrepreneurs and providing services to them, as well as disseminating the project's activities to the broadest possible sectors, in addition to networking with other hubs that are interested in the field of entrepreneurship and have the same interests in facing the challenges of sustainable development in the region.
