The MAIA TAQA project in Jordan is providing 60 000 Euros worth of vouchers services for selected SME’s in the fields of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, Wastewater treatment, Renewable Energy applicable to Wastewater treatment and reuse.

The 60 000 euros are divided into 3 vouchers each amounting to a maximum of 20 000 Euros.

This initiative is in line with the project aim and objectives of supporting SME’s identify their innovation needs and reducing technical, business and commercial barriers between Mediterranean countries.

For this purpose a minimum of 3 SMEs will be selected in Jordan to receive Innovation Vouchers that will support the purchase of services to introduce innovation in the  above mentioned fields  The selected SME will not receive direct money, but an in-kind contribution from the MAIA-TAQA project in the form of personalized innovation and knowledge services.

The type of services covered through the MAIA-TAQA voucher call are:

• Technical services
• Business Consultancy
• Technical and business training and capacity building
• funding calls management

Interested SMEs must fill an application form where they will provide a detailed explanation of their innovation requirements and the services they need. Once the call is closed, this information will be used to develop the formulation of completed research challenges to commission knowledge providers addressing the demands of the SMEs selected via specific tenders launched by the MAIA-TAQA local partners and designed in collaboration with the SMEs selected.
