TEX-MED ALLIANCES helds 3 online seminars to improve textile dyeing knowledge

As part of the TEX-MED ALLIANCES project, the Centre Technique du Textile - Cettex, through its Technological Resource Center of Monastir (Tunisia) organizes 3 technical assistance online seminars in dyeing small batches for the benefit of industrial SMEs. Cettex has specially designed facilities for the dyeing process of textile samples in order to support SMEs that often can't access to ordinary dying facilities because they work with small quantities of fabric for samples or prototypes. The Tunisian centre's service, according to its managers, "brings added value and provides great competitive advantages to companies".

Dyeing small batches is one of the initiatives undertaken by the TEX-MED ALLIANCES project. It fulfils project objectives of supporting small businesses by providing access to dyeing and finishing prototype facilities.

A practical demonstration session was held on 31 May. 30 tunisian companies and organisations took part. But the potential audience for the Tunisian facilities is much wider. Any of the companies that are part of the TEX-MED ALLIANCES project, from Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Palestine, Italy, Greece and Spain can access Cettex's dyeing services. That's why they decide to organize 3 online technical assistance seminars. This training aims, according to Cettex, "to benefit the maximum number of associated companies". Specifically, the sessions will be held on 14, 27 and 29 June 2022.
