On the 9^th of February 2022, the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry – ASCAME organized an Info Day for Mediterranean stakeholders intending to disseminate the INTECMED call through its network, to capture the best of the human capital of the region to empower their skills and business ideas related to innovation and commercialisation of research results.

Almost 40 participants of different categories attended the session: representatives of Chambers of Commerce, ministries, entrepreneurs, incubators, etc. After a general introduction, the participants were divided into two rooms, one in French and the other in English, in order to explain the project to them and allow them to ask questions.

When the informative part ended, the attendees were able to introduce themselves with the aim of start creating an innovation network in the Mediterranean region.

The session was very appreciated by the attendees, and it conveyed the goal of gathering key team players from +6 Mediterranean countries to build bridges that can strengthen the cross-border innovation ecosystem in the region. This event also amplified the project outreach to other parties which served as a multiplier to disseminate INTECMED’s Incubator programme.

This success couldn't have been possible without the extensive network of ASCAME, which has been working with Mediterranean stakeholders for the last 40 years.

The deadline for the submission to join INTECMED’s Incubator programme was February 28^th in all participating countries. The announcement of the selected applicants will be made soon.
