The NEX-LABS Agora is a social hub and a semantic aggregator dedicated to Mediterranean institutions, policy-makers, startups, SMEs researchers, civil society’s actors interested in the implementation of clean ICT technologies for sustainable and resilient growth of agri-food sector production based on a more efficient use of energy (renewable/solar solutions) and water (wastewater treatment, water harvesting or reuse solutions).

Since its launch on March 2021 the NEX-LABS Agora has collected and indexed over 1300 articles among blog posts, tweets and other kind of textual and multimedia contents that have been semantically checked and distributed through 5 channels called Flows focused on the topics of interest for our project and community.

In the instant infographic below, we show the top 10 of the most used entities. But what does the word "entity" mean?

“Entity” is a fancy concept  from the semantic web world that can be easily understood if translated as “tag”: A keyword assigned to a piece of information helping to describe an item and allows it to be found again by browsing or searching.

So far, “Innovation” is the most used entity, it was used in 276 articles,  and “Lebanon” is the most indexed country with 240 articles 

Even if it's not one of the project main topic,“Climate change” plays a relevant role, too, with149 articles, and it has a growing trend.
