iHERITAGE: Research Institutions needed for the development of ICT products for UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Egypt

CEEBA, the Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations and the Egyptian partner in the iHERITAGE project, is announcing a call for action for research institutions to provide the scientific research needed to develop prototypes of the following ICT solutions to enhance the access to the Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum: 

  • AR/VR Guided Tours;
  • 3D Recontext;
  • VR Cardboard Excursions;
  • Space-Time Elevator;
  • Holographic Exhibitions;
  • Virtual Archaeological Reconstruction (Var);
  • VR Room and
  • VR Booths

For each ICT product, the research shall build the technologies and technicalities, historical periods and settings depicted (landscape, etc.), human costumes, appearances, and so on to create panoramas of the past in Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality.
