Improve your business skills for free with CROSSDEV trainings in Umm Qais, Jordan

Applications are now open for a series of trainings aimed at business owners located in the Umm Qais area, Northern Jordan. As part of the CROSSDEV project, the trainings are aimed at helping locals improve their business skills, especially in the sustainable tourism sector.

Rich in cultural, natural, and historical heritage, the whole area surrounding ancient Umm Qais is being targeted by CROSSDEV’s actions, aimed at turning such a magnificent village to a new destination for responsible tourists and, at once, making it an asset for the locals to increase their business skills.

If you are involved in the tourism industry in the area, this is your opportunity to improve your skills while also networking with other colleagues. And it’s all free, being the project co-financed by the European Union through the ENI CBC MED Programme.

Where: Umm Qais (Jordan) (old village hall) between December 9 and January 14, and will target small business owners in the project area.
Training hours: Each training topic includes 20 training hours, including 12 theoretical hours and eight practical hours.
Duration: The training period is five weeks, three days a week.
Trainers: specialists in their scientific fields who hold a PhD and specialize in raising human capabilities for small projects.

Certificates will be issued to the participants at the end of the course

An additional two days will be devoted to training participants in photography skills, interior design and mosaic making.
