NAWAMED - 3rd Tunisian WATER TABLE on evaluating the feasibility of different technologies applied in the country

The third National stakeholders meeting "Tunisian Water Table" will focus on the “Cost feasibility assessment for Non Conventional Water Resources (NCWR) under water demand management (WDM) in Tunisia”.
It will be organized by the partner CERTE, Centre de Recherches et des Technologies des Eaux on November 23rd in the frame of WP5 leaded by the partner EWA, Energy Water Agency of Malta.

Participants will assess the financial feasibility of Non Conventional Water (NCW) treatment solutions for reuse including the cost investment related to the technology based on three case studies. The "cost-benefit" will be evaluated and discussed. Existing opportunities and barriers to financial mobilization for NCW/WDM treatment/reuse projects will be identified and discussed. Analysing the financial feasibility of wastewater treatment projects on the basis of case studies and cost/benefit assessments is crucial, so in the first part we will hear from Ahmed Ghrabi (CERTE), Fabio Masi (IRIDRA), Hana Gharbi.

Conclusions of this 3rd water table will be reported to the next stakeholders' meeting, and finally will help NAWAMED partners to set-up specific policy recommendations for their countries. These conclusions will be used to develop a “Mediterranean Policy Document” for a good practice of the WDM / NCWR.

The event will be organized in November 23th 2021 from 9:00 to 13:30 (Tunis time). It will be developed in French language and held at Ramada Plaza Hotel, Gammarth, Tunis.
